OMM Riders was founded in Istanbul in March 1998 as a Motorcycling Activities Center for all Turkish bikers living in Turkey or visiting the Country.
One More Mile summarizes the belief that the ride is as important as the destination: excellence in riding, intelligence in touring and generosity in sharing experiences are the goals behind OMM activities.
The OMM activities are open to Clubs, Associations, Groups and individuals Riders. All material produced and owned by OMM is free of use (we only ask to place a link to the original source).
The legal and supporting members of the OMM Dernek (Association) place time, talents and resources at disposal of fellow riders directly supporting the activities and managing the OMM events.

For competent road riding OMM endorsed from the beginning the “system” developed for the British Metropolitan Police at the Peel Training Centre (UK) known as 'The Police System of Motor Vehicle Control' and described in the 'Motorcycle RoadCraft' manual. In 2002 OMM introduced the Advanced Riding Test conducted by the “Institute of Advanced Motorists” (UK) in 2005
OMM obtained the first affiliation to IAM outside English speaking Countries. In the same year OMM opened ARA virtual Group (with free sign-in) as platform for the dissemination of experiences on systematic riding. Supported by OMM and various Groups in Turkey, with the endorsement of the Turkish Motorcyclist Federation, ARA is the open platform for the development of a post-license riding educational system of international standards.

OMM organizes every year few tours combining good riding roads with art and history. OMM and ARA riders cover thousand of miles in Turkey reporting impressions and suggestions on the OMM web site to help fellow bikers planning rides. As one of the founders of OMM wrote: “The modern State of Turkish Republic is only the last picture in a marvelous album of civilizations. It carries many colors from very ancient times: Hittites, Phrygians, Urartians, Lycians, Lydians, Ionians, Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks and Ottomans have all held important places in Turkey's history and its people's culture. OMM will join the pleasures of biking with history, we will make an attempt to find more about ourselves by riding through the cradle of Anatolian civilizations. We will improve the knowledge of our own history, before we become history ourselves leaving future riders to travel throughout what we were”

The site is updated every month with announcements of the upcoming events in Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara and Bursa. The sections of the site collect reading material on advanced riding, give access to the current and past OMM Bulletins, present the group and its members, offer suggestion for rides in Turkey and surrounding countries.
OMM Bulletin, Aiming to report about permanent ideas on riding.
Regularly published since December 1999 the monthly OMM Bulletin is a monthly point of dialogue for all friends of the group. Born as an information tools (reporting on rides and workshop), this media evolved to offer a moment of thinking about the values, the spirit, the ideas informing the riding sport. An ambitious objective that we hope to achieve with the help of all our readers. Subscription, via web site, is free and the bulletin is issued in Turkish and English.
OMM International Bureau
The group provides information, assistance and support to fellow riders contacting OMM by e-mail. OMM keeps contact with major Clubs, Groups and Organizations in the International Motorcycling arena.

For riders living in Turkey it may be interesting to know how to legally join OMM Association. We are looking for generous friends, competent riders striving to constantly improve and maintain a moral behavior in life and on the road. If you like the OMM idea and if you are ready to give time and resources to promote and help the Biking Community, joining OMM is quite easy. Just e-mail Yigit Guler (President of OMM); you will be provided with all the necessary information and invited to the our next meeting.
